How Fast the Great Ones Fall

So...I have been laboring under a misconception. Here I thought I had found the best method for conquering the universe. But alas...it was not to be. The so called "rock'n serve" tupper-ware does NOT allow you to cook anything you want in the microwave. Today I attempted to cook spaghetti noodles in the soup sized vessel and BANG ....THE DAMN THING BLEW OPEN MY MICROWAVE. That my friends is the product of false advertising, and I quotes...-

"These popular containers take foods directly from the freezer or refrigerator right to the microwave for fast and easy heating—perfect for leftovers or meals on-the-go."....oh wait there is more...

  • 2-cup (500 mL) capacity mug in Cosmos Black is a must-have for storing and serving soup, stew, chili or pasta. (LIARS)
  • Modern design with elegantly shaped handle is ideal for relaxing with a latte or hot cocoa. (HA)
  • Microwave-reheatable design goes from freezer to microwave to table in minutes—perfect for home or on-the-go. (excpet of course if you BLEW UP YOUR MICROWAVE COOKING THE "ON - THE -GO" MEAL)
  • Virtually unbreakable, stain-resistant plastic lasts a lifetime.
  • Virtually liquid-tight seal provide superior storage and makes transporting easy. (again UNLESS THE LID IS BLOWN OFF)
  • Red vent on seal rocks open, allowing steam to escape in the microwave and virtually eliminating messy microwave splatters. ......(EXCEPT THAT..........um.....uh....*cough)
i mean um.....never mind.
